it's a lot about trees...

this beautiful
unseasonably warm (for March)

Sunday afternoon
we stopped in on
friends.

they were cutting down "ginormous" pines (I think)
that were blocking
LIGHT.

the kids ran
in the beauty

even through
the "down-the-road"
(quaint) cemetery.

"it was creepy, mom." she said.
"there was fresh dirt".

and I thought...
it is a lot about dirt, isn't it?

God knows we are.
 Genesis is just the
beginning...

the tree of

"choice"

born to a

carpenter (step-father)

Jesus knew

the wood (of tree)

(and nails)

in the worst

way

 This day I call the heavens and the earth

as witnesses against you

that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses.

Now choose life,

so that you and your children may live

 and that you may love the LORD your God,

listen to his voice...

(dirt

and life

and death

and light

and

"Easter" was everywhere...)

 

and hold fast to Him.

For the LORD is your life...
