WILL et SNOW on Christmas?

so...watch out. Have a lot of words. The girls saw Willet in concert at school last week...so when R asked if we wanted to go see them again last night at church...they were THRILLED. Are they not too young to be that excited about "concert"ing??? I guess it was the play on words they did with the song "let it snow let it snow let it snow" changed to "Willet snow Willet snow Willet snow". You get the idea. H is going to ask her friend Will at school today if his middle name is "et". Yeah. I know. I love her sense of humor. Most of the time. :). This group is passionate. About their music. Jesus. and obviously about doing what we can to be the arms of Jesus to the hungry children of the world. C understood it to be $30 all-together (not per month) to sponsor a child...and said if we each gave $10 of our Christmas $ we would hav more than enough. We should all be that ready to love. Jesus loves the children. LOVES them. Anything we can do is not enough...that is frustrating to me. OH, I almost forgot the important thing...all that we do is not enough for salvation either. We respond. God loves people and I guess part of faith is realizing THAT and being willing to fit in wherever He chooses to use us...trusting His heart. trusting. God. He IS good. even when we do not see His good"ness" with our very own eyes. No matter how much one gives there is still tremendous need. hunger. Then I realized that a lot of what the Bible has to say about poor is...well, not the way we think of it. Jesus became poor for us.
The poor in spirit are "blessed".
"he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one;
he has not hidden his face from him
but has listened to his cry for help.
From you comes the theme of my praise...
The poor will eat and be satisfied;
they who seek the LORD will praise him - may your hearts live forever!" Ps 22.
i don't know what to say.
I think this was my fav song...
Glory
Words by Jeremy N.
Silence would shame us
And the rocks will cry out,
the rocks will cry out
If we don’t praise Him,
the rocks will cry out,
the rocks will cry out
Christ is born today
Glory
Deliver from us
Low thoughts of Christ,
low thoughts of Christ
Fill our souls with
The greatness of God,
the greatness of God
All glory and honor
Power and praise
Be lifted to Jesus
Who’s worthy
of all of our Glory
