we watched Washington and troops re-enact the crossing of the Delaware.
It was the very COLD day of
Christmas 25, 2110.
wounded soldiers
walked around
with bloodied bandages.
The occasional
blanket feast of wine and cheese
(must be the history lover's "tailgate").
...and i wondered...
how many in the thousand
observers
of this day
walk around
with the type of
wound that
can not be band-aid "ed"?
Psalm 34:18
The LORD is near to the brokenhearted
And saves those who are crushed in spirit.
And saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Emmanuel. God with us!
I love your thoughts on this... I would guess that just like us they all carried wounds that could only be healed by the Healer himself! Happy WFW!
