Penn's Cave

bright
and
very, VERY early
on the way to
learn about
"America's only all-water cavern
and wildlife park"
we met the sun ☺
for a little breakfast "picnic"
at this beaUtiful park.

is it just me...or does anyone else wonder why that tree is "warped"? :)
finally
there.

down
DOWN
way
deep
dark
down
we loaded into little boats
(that just barely scraped through in some parts)
did I mention that it WAS DARK?!
so dark
even with the little boat light.
At one point the guide
turned off all light.
We sat in
the
DARK
total
DARKness.
(and he told us to touch our noses, that light plays tricks on a person in caves...(wink) and the joke was on everyone who did, and still was when the light came back on ☺)
and the cold
dark
 made us
lOng
for the light
and reach for it when we came out.

was the Psalmist hiding in a cave when he "knew" this so true?
Your Word IS a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.  Psalm 119:105
columns,
stalactites,
and cave "bacon"
OH my ☺
cave moss?
notice next picture for clue to answer.
glimpse of light
wonderful light!

  2. the answer is:
the reason moss can grow in this dark cave is due to the artificial lights installed :). impressive light show.
